Midcentury inspired furniture has been a big trend within mainstream Interior design of recent years. The aesthetics of a midcentury inspired chair in any room is powerful and calming at the same time. From the wood finish to the fabric choice, when its done correctly it can be sublime.

Ironically midcentury design had gone out of fashion by the late 60s. The love of the design era would later be revived in the early- to mid-eighties as interest in the period began to return. Vintage midcentury designs became increasingly popular within a decade, as midcentury furniture's appeal grew from a niche group of design enthusiasts into the mainstream.
